It was quickly rammed through the House on a party line vote, and Harry Reid pushed it through the Democrat Senate. All the time claiming that it was not a tax, but that it was constitutional under the "commerce clause".
Obama time and time again claimed it was not a tax, all the liberal pundits claimed it was not a tax.
23 states sued saying it was unconstitutional under the commerce clause, and in fact the Court said it was unconstitutional under the commerce clause.
So when the Supreme Court got bullied by Obama and the liberal mainstream media, they decided that it was constitutional as a tax.
Are you kidding me ? It was passed in Congress, promoted by Obama and lefties in Congress as not being a tax, and the Supreme Court says it is Constitutional as a tax ?
Are we in some kind of parallel universe where the court can write legislation ?
That is the danger of a Democrat majority, they will pass any kind of crap legislation, and once it is passed it is almost impossible to undo.
