Our Second Amendment is the touchstone of citizens right to own firearms.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Many anti gun folks claim the text implies it only applies to Militias.
If this was the original drafters intent, why did they include it with 9 other amendments that restricted federal government power ?
The answer is obvious the "Militia" refers to any able bodied person capable of wielding arms.
And the intent of the Second Amendment is clear, it is to provide private citizens the right to own the same arms that the Army has at any given point in time.
Fast and Furious was a back door attempt to bring illegal gun control to the U.S. by "proving" that guns went to drug dealers !
I have news for these bozos, AK-47s are not made in the U.S. and they are available from any tin pot dictator in the world.
